Everything you need to know about our semi-permanent tattoos — from application to aftercare.
About the Product
A semi-permanent tattoo is a skin-friendly, temporary tattoo that closely resembles real ink but is designed to fade naturally over time. Unlike permanent tattoos, these do not involve needles or ink injected under the skin. They are applied on the surface of the skin using a water-transfer method and typically last 1–2 weeks.
Our inks are formulated to be gentle and are generally suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. However, we recommend doing a small patch test if you have known skin allergies or conditions. All our tattoos are made with non-toxic, skin-friendly inks that have been carefully formulated for cosmetic use.
Our semi-permanent tattoos typically last 1–2 weeks depending on placement, skin type, and how well you care for them. Areas with less friction (like the inner arm or shoulder) tend to last longer. Following our aftercare tips will help maximize longevity.
Yes! Our tattoos are designed with high-quality printing to closely resemble the look of real ink tattoos. Many of our customers report that friends and family cannot tell the difference. The level of realism depends on the design — fine-line and minimal designs tend to look the most authentic.
Application
Application is simple: clean and dry the skin area, remove the clear film, place the tattoo face-down on your skin, press with a damp cloth for 30–60 seconds, then gently peel away the backing paper. Let it air dry for a few minutes. Detailed instructions are included with every order. You can also visit our How It Works page for a complete guide.
The tattoo can be applied on most body areas. Popular placements include the wrist, forearm, shoulder, collarbone, ankle, and behind the ear. For best results, choose a flat area with less friction from clothing. Avoid areas with excessive body hair, joints that bend frequently, or areas that are constantly exposed to water.
Yes. If you want to remove the tattoo before it fades naturally, you can use baby oil, rubbing alcohol, or an oil-based makeup remover. Apply generously, let it sit for a few minutes, then gently rub with a cloth. The tattoo should come off easily.

Care & Maintenance
Yes, you can shower normally. The tattoo is water-resistant once fully dry. However, avoid prolonged soaking in water (like swimming pools or long baths) as this can cause faster fading. Pat the area dry gently after showering.
The tattoo is water-resistant but not fully waterproof. Brief contact with water (like hand washing or showering) is fine. Extended water exposure will gradually reduce the tattoo's lifespan.
For best results, avoid applying oils, heavy lotions, or exfoliating products on the tattoo area. Also avoid excessive rubbing, scratching, or friction from tight clothing. Direct sunlight can also cause faster fading, so consider applying sunscreen over the tattoo when outdoors.
